Heri Meets Artists Gilbert and George [Again]
Heri meets iconic Modern British artists Gilbert and George in East London! By complete luck and they talk to Heri,it all gets a bit fanboy…..! en.wikipedia.org I used to see George everyday in the early ninties as he went for an evening walk, and he used to always say hello. For no reason apart from saying hello.Which always stuck in my mind.People never talk to each other in London! He was always dressed immaculately in the rougher East End of London ,contrasting sharply in his tweed suits. Theses are the daddies, the forefathers, godfathersof the cool brittania damien hirst, tracey emin, modern art movement of the nineties. Gilbert Proesch and George Passmore created a big body of work especialy the jack freak picture series . The Art Car Boot Fair. 19th June 2011. After a lengthy rant by Miriam Elia about Gavin Turk selling signed eggs for £25. Sarah Maple dares Miriam to smash one of the offending eggs. Tracey Emin and Turner Contemporary in Margate
Turner Contemporary Gallery has opened its doors to public in Margate, Kent. 80000 people visited it in a month. The well-known British artist Tracey Emin, who opened the gallery, describes her emotions for the opening of the Gallery in Margate where she grew up. Turner Contemporary was built on the spot where famous seacape and landscape painter JM William Turner used to live.
